Giffords Debuts Spanish Language Radio Ad

TUCSON - Gabrielle Giffords debuted a Spanish-language radio ad today. The ad, entitled “Confianza” (”Trust”) features Giffords and Congressman Raúl Grijalva, both of whom are Spanish speakers. To listen to the ad, click here.

“I ask you to vote for my friend Gabrielle Giffords for Congress,” Grijalva says in Spanish. “Gabrielle and I have fought to improve our schools and jobs. I know and respect her values.”

Giffords says in Spanish, “I’m running for Congress because for a long time, Washington has ignored the problems that our families face in Arizona.”

The ad is an essential component of the Giffords campaign’s goal to reach out to voters throughout the district.
