Giffords Honored with NOW Woman of Courage Award

TUCSON - Gabrielle Giffords was honored with the National Organization for Women (NOW) “Woman of Courage” award yesterday. She was honored for her track record of fighting for women during her service in the legislature.   Rep. Linda Lopez, Rep. David Bradley, former state Sen. Elaine Richardson, and activist Amanda Simpson, gave remarks lauding Giffords for her service during her terms in the Arizona House of Representatives and the Arizona Senate.
