Giffords to Speak at Tucson Labor Day Picnic

TUCSON - Gabrielle Giffords was a featured speaker at the AFL-CIO’s Labor Day picnic at Reid Park, along with Governor Janet Napolitano, Congressman Raúl Grijalva, and Democratic Senate nominee Jim Pederson. The picnic was sponsored by the AFL-CIO, the Pima Area Labor Federation, and the Tucson Jobs With Justice Coalition. After the speech, Giffords grilled hot dogs for the attendees.
