Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik Featured In New Giffords Ad
TUCSON - Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik is featured in Gabrielle Giffords’ latest television ad, “Fix It,” which highlights Giffords’ common-sense strategy to fix the federal government’s failure to crack down on illegal immigration. Watch “Fix It” in Quicktime or Windows Media.
“She’s smart, she’s tough €“ and she knows what law enforcement needs,” Sheriff Dupnik says of Giffords in the new ad.
“We need new technology and tough enforcement on our border,” says Giffords. “No amnesty. And Washington needs to reimburse Arizona for the price we pay.”
“Fix It” will run on broadcast and cable channels in the Tucson media market, which covers the entirety of Congressional District 8.
Giffords supports a tough, comprehensive solution to our illegal immigration crisis, including stronger border security, more border patrol agents, increased use of technology and drones, sanctions on employers who hire illegal immigrants, and a guest worker program to meet the needs of Southern Arizona’s businesses.
Sheriff Dupnik is part of the broad coalition of Southern Arizona law enforcement that supports Gabrielle Giffords’ commitment to safety and security.
