Southern Arizona Unites Behind Gabrielle Giffords in New Ad

TUCSON - Gabrielle Giffords’ campaign for Congress released its latest television ad today, entitled “Uniting.” The ad reflects the broad, bipartisan support across Southern Arizona that Giffords has built over the course of her campaign for a new direction in Washington. “Across Southern Arizona, people are uniting behind Gabrielle Giffords,” an announcer says. “She’s the choice of police, teachers and nurses. Endorsed by newspapers across Arizona, who call her ‘tough,’ ‘moderate,’ and ‘effective.’” She’ll ‘build bridges’” and ‘cross party lines’ to do what’s right for families.”

The ad will be running on broadcast and cable channels in the Tucson media market, which covers the entirety of Congressional District 8.
