REP. GIFFORDS REMINDS VOTERS OF EARLY BALLOT DEADINES
TUCSON—Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords reminds voters that today is the last day to vote at early voting sites or to mail in early ballots.
“This is such a critical election. I encourage every voter to become engaged in our election process, to learn about the candidates and to take an active role in shaping our government,” Giffords said. “Elected leaders truly work for the voters and the voters need to make their views known.”
The satellite early voting stations in Pima County will close at 5 p.m. Friday, but the County Recorder’s Office, 115 N. Church Ave. in Tucson, will be open through the weekend for emergency voting.
County officials also remind voters who requested an early ballot to get those ballots in the mail by Friday. Ballots that aren’t received by Election Day will not be counted.
Early ballots can still be dropped off at any polling place on Election Day.
