Additional returns from Cochise and Pima counties today bolster Giffords’ margin over Kelly to 3,055 votes.

Giffords has led since polls closed on Tuesday. As of Wednesday night, Giffords’ lead was 2,349 votes. The majority of uncounted ballots remaining are from Pima County, where Giffords’ has led overall.

This is it. We’re exactly one week away from the election. Everything we’ve worked so hard for since the beginning is about to come down to just one day.

Next Tuesday, Southern Arizonans have a choice.

We can choose a representative who is standing up for us by securing our border, protecting Social Security and Medicare and defending military families and veterans. Or we can choose a representative who wants to gamble Social Security in the stock market, charge you a 23% sales tax on groceries, gas and medicine, and eliminate a billion dollars from our schools.

It’s up to you to help us make that choice.

We have already made tens of thousands of phone calls and knocked on thousands of doors leading up to this moment. In the last six days of this campaign, we will do more work together than we’ve ever done before.
